Hotel was amazingly comfortable, I loved it. Venue was fairly clean and REFURBISHED. Beautiful views and an original room design. The staff was pretty friendly & was quick to help. Easy location, within short walking distance to ballona creek bike path. A supermarket and stores near the hotel.
-
Spend our time here nicely. The bed was comfortable. Thanks to valet. They have on-site restaurant called Caravan Swim Club. This is a hotel go-to for Los Angeles!
-
We can't wait to go back, this hotel met expectations. Room was big as expected. What's more, we enjoyed the free Wi-Fi, available in the property. Freshly prepared breakfast, with lots of food.
Nothing all good.
-
Food and rooms were fantastic. A good choice of restaurants to eat close by, like hacienda del rey that was only 5 minutes' walk away. We appreciated our great stay there a lot.
-
Staff is very helpful and kind. Good for arriving in LA.
Additional service somewhat expensive like e.g. parking costs at present 35$. Pick-up shuttle must be ordered by telephone.
-
Hotel with very good breakfast, friendly staff, free access to the gym and pool. Pool area is nice and pool is big enough. Ideal for your last stay in Los Angeles (very close to the airport). However, the rooms are very quiet, we had the window towards the launch pad from the airport and were not disturbed.
For the amenities somewhat expensive, but anyways it is difficult to find a hotel in LA at a fair price and it is very close to the airport, so it is reasonable.
-
Airport is near, perfect for shorter stay! 10 min by car to Venice Beach, 40 min to Hollywood. Supermarket is next door
-
We've been to this hotel before in 2012: it's modern and close to the airport. From our room (911) the airport could not be heard at all. Besides, the room was pretty big.
Breakfast is not worth 15 US dollars
-
It was a very modern hotel. Good location if you're coming from LAX airport. Shopping possibility is just around the corner
Relatively expensive, especially if you arrive by car, parking is charged additionaly.
-
Very nice reception. Super location fron where you can reach all sights within 30-45 minutes. Supermarket and starbucks are nearby. You can eat delicious pizza around the corner. Parking spaces can be found at the supermarket for free. Parking and breakfast in the hotel is quite expensive therefore rather use the supermarket. The room was very clean. There was a safe and a fridge. Everything you need. We were on the 12th floor, so we had a great view. Recommended only!
For a 3 star hotel somewhat expensive but for los angeles and this location it is ok.
-
Good location directly at Route 1. Lovely small pool area. Good supermarket directly next door. Nice staff. Clean. Free parking on neighbouring street is possible.
Very expensive parking. Incredibly loud air conditioning in the corridor (can be heard in the room).
-
nicely styled modern rooms
the parking charge of 22$ is quite high and there are no alternatives. Pool bar closed way before 11 pm, no coffeemaker in the rooms. all in all not bad, quite stylish rooms but yet a bit overpriced.
-
What u liked is that the staff where really friendly , helpfull, and the location was great. I ha a good experience.
I don't like that you have to pay for parking when you are staying there.

This is a former dormitory for Otis College of Art. If you loved the feel of your college dorm room, this place will be fine for you. The bathroom is tiny. The carpet is cheap and rough on your feet. The place smells like a gym and smoke. The bed is basically a futon literally on the floor. The room is dark with poor lighting (maybe to hide the dirt). It's gross and I would never stay again.
-
The main thing is the location and the fact that it has a shuttle to LAX, but the staff is unfailingly pleasant, and we like the uncluttered design. The adjacent supermarket and nearby diner are also pluses. this has been our overnight reststop between cross-country and cross-Pacific flights for 4 years now.
